LYC Bukit Jalil offers exceptional service! The nurses are incredibly responsive, providing care round the clock. The environment is impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The food served is not only delicious but also comes in generous portions. Every staff member is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. For new mothers, there are numerous informative courses available, enhancing the overall experience. Despite strict SOPs, I felt completely safe during my time at LYC. We had a great stay, first class service, cleanliness and food! We were lucky to have stayed in LYC bukit Jalil. Feeling like i was staying in a 5 star hotel with daily housekeeping. Love the ambience there with kind staffs, nurses, lactation consultant, nutritionist, customer service and doctors.

Thanks for Super kind and friendly lactation consultant: Ms Yeeling. She taught me how to latch my baby correctly, how to massage to prevent engorgement and how to comfort my baby. Nurses take care of babies with full of patience even my boy easily awaken, hard to sleep at night and always needs to be hugged. I'm so glad me and my family chose LYC. Everything about the centre screams quality but also comfort one could get from home.
The nursery team is a group of professional angels who taught me so much alongside helping to take care of my little bundle bundle joy while I recuperate. The manager, Annlgie as well as the customer service team is amazing needless to say. There's nothing negative I could point out about this place.

Also for mommas considering this confinement centre, there are tons of classes and spa services as well! At times, I felt like I was on a holiday retreat 💜😘

I am a first time mother who have my confinement stay during May 2023 till June 2023.

Enjoyment which I had here :-
(1) Tight security with strict COVID 19 visitors procedures for the mummy and baby resting here.
(2) 5 meals a day with generous portion
(3) In house hair saloon and Tanamera postnatal massage
(4) Daily weekday mummy and daddy educational training on how to handle newborn by the trained nurses here.
(5) Clean daily room cleaning services
(6) Qualified trained nurses to handle my baby. That time i went, the nurses handle the baby ratio 1:3.
(7) Continous improvement for the activities for parents here. After I left in early June 2023, it seemed that the centre have more engaging activities for mummies to join in like breastmilk soap making and cake making session!
(8) This is the only confinement centre which allows for installment payment for their services with 0% interest.
(9) Kudos to the nurses here and the lactation consultant here as they are the friendliest and most informative people whom helped me and my husband ALOT!
(10) Walking distance to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Appx 5 mins walking from the centre. Parents can get last minute baby items from Parkson at Pavilion Bukit Jalil easily.

Things i dont enjoy here
(1) Expensive mummy product sold here like the mumlacta. In my opinion, they are quite overly priced as compared to outside milk boosting product. They claimed its their in house brand which i felt the price is double of other milk boosting products sold outside.
(2) The cleaners even though they knocked the door, they will still come in even the sign say dont come in.
(3) At the end of my stay (last 1 week of stay) the cleaners didnt bother to clean my room first, as they prefer to service the rooms for the mummies who checked in first. My room usually is cleaned up at 10am everyday for the first 3 weeks. But at week 4 of my stay, they clean up my room at 11.30am! And they dont even bother to prepare my Tanamera herbal bath when everyday they are doing the same for my room.
(4) There allow children to run around at late night which causes my baby to not sleep soundly when rooming baby in. Some parents dont bother for their toddler to run here and there and scream, not considering the resting of other mummies and babies. Usually i will go to sleep in this centre at 9pm but with the toddler running, i can only rest at 11pm!!!
(5) There are one sessions which are marketing in nature held by the centre here. Its the bone fixing session.
They claimed they are here to SHARE knowledge but in the end turns out to sell their services to the mummies. At first they take your contact and details in exchange of giving you a coupon for one time free services. After mummy checked out, its when their team continously whatsapp you on whether you want to sign up package or not.
(6) They mentioned about after service advice. The after service advise only practically applies when parents checking out on the last day! Literally, once I checked out from their place, its like the centre close case for 1 customer.
I felt their after service advice should at least cover the first 1 week of parents when they checked out. A constant follow up via Whatsapp and phone call would be good to understand whether the parents are settling well at home with their newborn would be beneficial as not many parents are second time parents OR have people to help them at home.
(7) Some of their engaging activities will miss out their registration for some mummies. I was checked in during first week of May 2023, but LYC excluded me on the cake decorating session for Mother's day! Must be the package I signed up, which is not as expensive as the other mothers whom their room might be bigger than mine! They literally didnt inform the activities to me.

I want to thank all the nurses for paying so much attention to me and my son. And thanks to the lactation counseller for being so patients with me, for first few days I’ve been suffered and not able to latch my son, thanks so much for the help to solve all the lactation problem and I can latch my son correctly. Stayed here after having my firstborn. It was one of the best experiences of my life especially since needing to recover and rest.

I checked in late at night. Despite it being the the front counter’s off work hours, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the LYC staff! They were very professional and experienced.

My baby was checked for all marks and scars, which were then pointed out to me. They kept track of my baby’s jaundice levels which was great because I knew when I had to bring him to the hospital.

Food here is spectacular - everything super healthy and made from scratch. You’d lose weight even by eating more 😁

Nurses are very helpful, really gave me a head start on motherhood. Ginger hair wash was soooo relaxing, but massage was fully booked 🥹
